About the event
Our world is filled with sensors and other devices that gather information. These devices generate massive amounts of data (far more than humans!) When this data is combined with analytics, machine learning, and other statistical methods, we can extract insights from the data that we can use to solve many real-world problems, from healthcare to security and beyond.
Data science is the practice of gathering insights from data. By analyzing data, we can understand trends, the relationships between measured variables, and often be able to use the data to learn patterns. Data Science is often required for machine learning and advanced Artificial Intelligence techniques that use data to make predictions. Often these predictions are made from data gathered from IoT devices.
In this webinar, we will introduce you to sensors and the data that they can gather, and show you how to do data science on sensor data - particularly sensor data gathered about animals that can be used for animal care. You will learn how to analyze this data and better understand the health of the animals.
